Horseback Riding
We enjoy taking our guests and visitors to Bocas del Toro on 2-3 hour guided Horseback Rides along the Bluff Beach Road to the pools of Finca Floras. Your journey will take you to the secluded beautiful ocean pools of La Piscina and Blue Lagoon. The pools are calm and perfect for swimming and snorkelling – bring your gear if you like. Pack a lunch or snack to enjoy on the beach. Or, stop at one of Bluff Beach’s excellent restaurants at the end of your ride.
Ideally, we schedule rides to depart from Bluff Beach at 9:30 am and 1:30 pm (other times can be arranged). This will keep the horses and riders out of the intense afternoon heat. The majority of the ride is shaded by trees. Tours depart from Bluff Beach Retreat..

To reserve please WhatsApp or email us the day before. We may be able to accommodate same day requests. The fee is $55 per person payable in cash prior to the ride.
Helmets and rubber boots are available for use. We recommend wearing long pants for your comfort and bring dry clothing if you plan to swim. Riding home in a wet bathing suit is a very bad idea!
A riding waiver must be completed in order to ride. Being around horses is inherently dangerous. Even the calmest horse can be spooked. You will be trail riding through sand, water and vegetation.
